Resolution
This issue may be caused by the File System Archiving filter driver not being mounted on the drive properly.
1. Confirm the EvFilter driver is loaded by running the following from a command prompt:
fltmc instances
This should show whether the driver is loaded on the drive with the issue. If the driver is not loaded then use the following command to load the driver:

2. Confirm the drive now shows in the following output:
fltmc instances
3. Restart the Enterprise Vault File Placeholder Service and test to confirm if the issue has been resolved.
If the issue is not resolved then attempt to remove and reinstall the FSA agent.
1. Uninstall FSA agent from the file server.
2. Delete the existing %install path% \Program Files (x86)\Enterprise Vault directory.
