Cause

This issue can occur when Enterprise Vault cannot confirm the location of the Active Directory accounts associated to the mailboxes. This can happen when the Organizational Unit(OU), Distribution Group or Windows Group being Provisioned in Enterprise Vault has been modified in Active Directory but not updated in Enterprise Vault. 
 
 

Resolution

1. In Enterprise Vault compare the OU, Distribution Group or Windows Group location being provisioned with the actual location within Active Directory Users and Computers.
 
2. In Enterprise Vault compare the OU, Distribution Group or Windows Group name with the actual name within Active Directory Users and Computers.
 
 

 

Issue/Introduction

The scheduled Exchange Mailbox Archiving Task begins per it's schedule and completes, however no mailboxes archive. A "Run Now" of the Exchange Mailbox Archiving Task successfully archives mailboxes.
Symptom: A5 queue shows entries but quickly counts down to 0.
