Resolution
Default Buffer size is 50,000, to set at a higher number, see steps below:
- Make sure Dtrace is not set to 'log' and 'monitoring' at the same time.
- Increase the buffer size by stipulating the size of the buffer when starting the Dtrace application via the Command prompt. Syntax 'dtrace 500000'
- At the command prompt browse to the standard location: C:\Program Files (x86)\Enterprise Vault
- Type Dtrace 500000 and enter
- Setup the Dtrace with normal settings.
As a last resort, attempt to reduce the number of threads or processes being dtraced.
