EV~X ***** Trace buffer overflow. Trace entries lost:

Resolution

Default Buffer size is 50,000, to set at a higher number, see steps below:
 
  1. Make sure Dtrace is not set to 'log' and 'monitoring' at the same time.
  2. Increase the buffer size by stipulating the size of the buffer when starting the Dtrace application via the Command prompt. Syntax 'dtrace 500000'
    • At the command prompt browse to the standard location: C:\Program Files (x86)\Enterprise Vault
    • Type Dtrace 500000 and enter
    • Setup the Dtrace with normal settings.
As a last resort, attempt to reduce the number of threads or processes being dtraced.
