How to exclude recurring calendar items from archiving

Resolution

1. Open Mailbox Policy properties
2. Enable IPM.Appointment class from message classes tab 
 
    
 
3. Set "Archive unexpired Calendar Events" to OFF in Advanced --> Archiving General menu
 
4. Set "Do not archive pending reminders" to ON in Advanced --> Archiving General menu.
 
 
 
5. Synchronize all mailboxes from the Exchange Mailbox Archiving task.

Issue/Introduction

Want to archive calendar items but exclude "recurring calendar items" from being archived.
