Error Message
The following can be seen in the FSA task report file.
*** Error *** - Error making file: \\?\UNC\fileserver.domain.com\E$\USERDATA\Folder1\UnderFolder1\document.ppt a placeholder file. Catastrophic failure (Exception from HRESULT: 0x8000FFFF (E_UNEXPECTED))
Resolution
It has been seen that deleting the files from the archive, deleting the 0k file and renaming the .EVBKUP file back to the original name can allow for the file to be archived properly and a placeholder to be made without error.
Issue/Introduction
Placeholders are not being created and there are .EVBKUP files remaining on the file system along with 0K files with the original name.
