Resolution
1. Reinstall ASP.NET 2.0 sp2 on the Enterprise Vault server (or whichever version of ASP.NET mentioned in the 1023 error).
2. Reinstall Enterprise Vault. Verify the current version of EV, including service pack, before taking this step.
Issue/Introduction
Enterprise Vault services restart automatically and continually producing the following errors:
