Cause

This can occur when one or more of the services listed below are not running.

Resolution

Confirm that SharePoint Services are running on SharePoint Server. Enterprise Vault SharePoint Task need SharePoint services below are running correctly:
 
  • Office SharePoint Server Search Service
  • Windows SharePoint Services Search Service
  • Windows SharePoint Services Administration Service
  • Windows SharePoint Services Timer Service
