Implement the following registry key:
 
Warning: Incorrect use of the Windows registry editor may prevent the operating system from functioning properly. Great care should be taken when making changes to a Windows registry. Registry modifications should only be carried-out by persons experienced in the use of the registry editor application. It is recommended that a complete backup of the registry and workstation be made prior to making any registry changes.
 
HKLM\Software\KVS\Enterprise Vault\Agents\DominoNewPersonDocAction
 
As a DWORD with a value of 1.
 
Rerun provisioning and synchronize the user.
 

 

Issue/Introduction

After being recertified, usually as a result of being renamed, a user gets an access denied error when accessing archived items.
The provisioning Report for that user shows the following error:
A new Person Document was found in the Domino Directory for user 'CN=User/OU=Test/O=TestOrg', who has an existing entry in the Enterprise Vault database. Set the DominoNewPersonDocAction registry value to process this user. See the documentation for further details.
