Error Message

 41011 | The SQL database for Vault Store ‘Exchange Mailbox Store’ has not been backed up for x days. The information in this database is at risk until the database has been backed up.

These errors are presented when the database noted in the EV Event Log entry has not been able to successfully be backed up for the period of time noted in the log entry.  Possible reasons for a backup failure can be, but are not limited to, the following: 

1. No backup job is created or scheduled for the specified database.

2. The backup job failed to run on the specified database.

Perform a full backup of the EV SQL database and transaction log files. 

NOTE: If using the Simple Recovery Model, which doesn't generate transaction logs, taking a full backup will not resolve the above events.  In this case do either of the following:

1. Change the Recovery Model to Full, then perform a full backup of the EV SQL database and transaction log files.
2. If the Recovery Model cannot be changed from Simple, uncheck the Vault Store transaction log backup from the Monitoring tab in the Site Properties window to stop the warnings.  A restart of the EV services is required.
