Cause
Possible cause is the message in question ( or any attachment within it) is corrupt.
Resolution
Verify if item is corrupt by following the steps below:
- Drag the message in question to the desktop and open the item.
- The messages may not be corrupt. Drag them from your Desktop to the Inbox folder, the Exchange Journaling task tries to archive them again. Remember to delete the corrupt versions from the Failed to copy folder.
- If the message is sent back to the "failed to copy" folder again, check to make sure that any of the messages within it are not corrupted. Renaming them should solve the problem.
Issue/Introduction
Messages are getting moved to "failed to copy" folder. Event ID 3070 appears in the the event logs.
