Virtual Vault may not contain the entire content of all items. When accessing items that have not been completely downloaded, the client requests the items from the Enterprise Vault (EV) server. In some instances where a user has a restriction on the size of Virtual Vault, the amount of data being requested will be large than the size allocated for Virtual Vault to grow, and fail to complete the copy operation.

This is expected behavior of the client. Potential workarounds are as follows:

• Increase the size allocated to the Virtual Vault on the applicable client.
• Increase the size allocated to the Virtual Vault to all users within a policy
• Copy items in smaller batches
