Cause
The errors are caused by an incorrect regional setting for the number format's decimal separators on the EV Indexing server(s). The English installation of EV requires decimal points, or periods, to be used as decimal separators.
Resolution
To change the regional number format:
- Navigate to Start | Control Panel | Clock, Language, and Region | Change the date, time, or number format
- Select Additional Settings on the Formats tab.
- Change the Decimal symbol value to a . (period)
- Save the changes
Issue/Introduction
During an Enterprise Vault (EV) Discovery Accelerator (DA) Search, the error listed below is logged for all Index Volumes targeted by the Search. Review of the Indexes in EV show they are all normal.
