Error Message

Server Error in Application "DEFAULT WEB SITE/EVBAADMIN"
HTTP Error 401.1  - Unauthorized
You do not have permission to view this directory or page using the credentials that you supplied.
 

The IIS Application Pool for EVAcceleratorAppPool has its identity set incorrectly.

1. On the CA/DA server,click on Start->Programs->Administrative Tools->Internet Information Services (IIS) Manager.
2. In the top left corner, click the Plus (+) sign next to the CA/DA server to display an Application Pools.
3. On the left task pane, click on Application Pools.
4. Under Application Pools, right click on the EVAcceleratorAppPool and then select Properties.
5. Select Set Application Pool Defaults...
6. Under the Section: Process Model->Identity, click on the ellipsis (...) button and change the value to Network Service.
7. Click on OK twice to accept the change.
8. Close the IIS Manager.
9. Stop the Enterprise Vault Accelerator Manager Service (EVAMS) using the Services or equivalent application.
10. Open a Command Prompt.
11. In the Command Prompt window, enter the command 'iisreset' (without the surrounding single quotes).
12. Execute the command in the Command Prompt.
13. When the command has been successfully completed, close the Command Prompt.
14. In the Services or equivalent application, start EVAMS.
15. After EVAMS has successfully started, launch Internet Explorer and connect to the "https:///EVBAAdmin" again to configure a CA/DA Configuration database.
