Windows TEMP directory, as illustrated by the operating system, was corrupted. 

Locate and change the windows TEMP directory.

1. Check the windows temp directory
    a. Windows > RUN > %TEMP%
2. Create a folder and file in the directory
    a. Location will report corrupt and unreadable
3. Change the TEMP directory using the In the environment variables setting on the EV server
    a. Right Click My Computer and go to Properties
    b. Advanced tab and open the Environment Variables
    c. Change the location of TEMP and TMP 
4. Re-start the EV Services

• Enterprise Vault application manager reports a corrupt directory, but it did not indicate where.
• Event viewer reported 6183 five consecutive times in five seconds
• Then followed by Event 2285, 2244 and 2270
• This repeats every minute while the mailbox is archived
