Job Log will show the following error
Cause
The PST or OST is password protected
Resolution
- To enable processing the PST or OST file, open the file and re-save the file with no password.
- Log in to Veritas eDiscovery Platform.
- Select CaseName
- Click Sources & Pre-Processing
- Click Manage Sources tab
- Open out the source using the +
- Locate the Filename and check the box to the file
- From For Selected Items select Enable Processing
- Click Go
- From For Selected Items select Discover new files for source
- Click OK to the message You have chosen an action that can only be applied to an entire source
- The PST or OST file will now be discovered.
Issue/Introduction
When Veritas Clearwell eDiscovery encounters password protected PST or OST, the file in discovery will fail and mark as disabled.
