Cause

A user account other than the vault service account was specified for the DataMover details on the file server properties in the VAC.  This event will be logged if the account does not have permissions to the archive where the archived files reside.

 

Resolution

Grant the DataMover account permissions on the Archives in question and restart the Enterprise Vault services. 

Issue/Introduction

User are unable to open files that have been archived on an EMC Celerra File Server resulting in a pop-up "Could not open file....". Additionally, Event ID below is logged.
