Only the Collection Task folders associated with the Collection, plus its contents, are moved using this utility. Collection Sets cannot be moved one they are ingested into a case.
If the Preservation Store (Destination Server) location is running low on space, removing Collection Tasks and Collection Sets, no longer recognized by the Clearwell appliance, may be in order. Contact your Veritas Support representative to assist in providing that list.
Starting with 7.1.2 Fix Pack 2, the system can be set so that once tasks are deleted from the user interface (UI), regardless of their status, will also have the associated data in the preservation store deleted automatically. This feature helps reclaim vast amounts of disk space, which were not previously possible without manually deleting the data from the preservation store.
To enable this functionality follow the below steps.
1. Log into Clearwell as a System Administrator
2. Click System > Support Features
3. Select Property Browser from the Choose a support feature dropdown
3. In the Name of property to change field copy/paste the following:
esa.icp.task.deleteOnDiskTaskData
4. in the New value (leave blank to remove) field type the following:
true
5. Check the Confirm change. Are you Sure? checkbox
6. Click Submit
