Cause

During an archiving run, the EV ArchiveTask.exe will update the ExchangeMbxFolder table.  Prior to this call the archive task encounters a hidden message that cannot be read, updated, or deleted properly by the archiving task.  When this situation occurs it indicates a potentially corrupt hidden folder filter message within a user's Exchange Mailbox.

Exact cause of hidden message corruption is unkown as the exact cause was not captured in a Dtrace or Event Log on the Exchange server.

Due to the complexity of locating the affected user, please contact Enterprise Vault support referencing this article when the exact errors show above are present.

Event Id's 13360 and 8453 are displayed in the Enterprise Vault event log, when a corrupt hidden message is contained within an Exchange Mailbox.
