Error Message
Number of Hold Notices exceeds the maximum of 40 for a Legal Hold.
Cause
The eDiscovery Platform limits the maximum number of Hold Notices per Legal Hold to 40.
Resolution
- Delete any Hold Notices no longer active and/or in use. (Note: Of course, the preservation of Notices should be taken into consideration when deleting is chosen as an option.)
- Create a new Legal Hold and send the notices from the new Legal Hold.
Issue/Introduction
The Legal Hold Admin notices that the Add Custodian Notice and Add System Admin Notice buttons are grayed out.
In this case, there are 20 Hold Notices each:
- 20 Custodian Notices
- 20 System Admin Notices
