Note:  The restore feature does not have a progress bar and is time consuming.  If you have thousands of items to be restored, it is recommended to select a smaller amount at a time for step 4 and repeat steps 4 and 5 as needed.
 

1. Select a user mailbox that has archived messages in Enterprise Vault
    
2. Open the user mailbox
    
3. Create a view using a search formula that meets your criteria.  The following formula will display all notes that have been archived.
   
   SELECT EV_Flags = "ShortCut"
    
4. Select the items you would like to restore
    
5. Select More/Enterprise Vault Restore
    
6. Close the database
