The following is a list of known reasons that a document can produce the message No html version of this document is available for display.

Corrupt files |
Corrupt files will not allow the files to be opened to extract content for the reviewer to view. |

Unsupported file formats |
A file viewer that supports the file that is selected to be read needs to be installed to be able to correctly open the document (file or version) |

The file is unable to be identified |
When a file extension is renamed to something other than the real file type content, the file may not be able to be correctly identified or the original file extension may be an unsupported file type. eDP uses a file type tool named FILEID.EXE to determine the real file type. If this tool is not able to determine the content type, the message may be observed. |

The cache for the document has been cleared due to prior troubleshooting |
In some instances of troubleshooting, it is required to clear the cached information for some documents. The cached information is what is displayed as HTML In order to rebuld the cached information for that document, from the action menu while the document is selected, choose to run a CACHE operation. |

An OCR (Optical Character Render) of an image file was not able to find any indexable content |
The message is accurately depicting that there is no content to display as text since an OCR (Optical Character Render) of an image file was not able to find any indexable content |
| An audio file does not display any information in the text view of the file | eDP only supports audio formats that are readable by Windows Media Player For Clearwell versions that have the licensed capability of reading audio files, Initially, Clearwell only supports formats that are readable by Windows Media Player. To expand the capabilities of audio search, ensure Apple QuickTime is installed (only if there is a requirement to process Apple specific media files) and the Windows Desktop Experience is enabled on the Clearwell servers that will be processing audio files. |
