[#422242] An error occurred while starting a collection task : Cannot release holds as the task is Active
[#422242] An error occurred while starting a collection task : {0}
The Status of the EV Hold Task is not in 'Stopped', 'Partial Success' or 'Success' status or the Job Manager is not available.
Deleting an EV Hold Task
If the task is in a 'Running' state, open the Job Status log to monitor for job activity. If there is no activity over a thirty minute span, restart the eDiscovery Platform services via the Clearwell Utility (#3 and #4) and open the Job Status log to verify activity has resumed.
If the task is in a 'Stopping' state, allow ample time for the task to come to a 'Stopped' state. If the task remains in the 'Stopping' state for over twenty-four hours, restart the eDiscovery Platform services via the Clearwell Utility (#3 and #4) to perform the services restart ; allow for an additional eight hours before contacting Veritas technical support.
Starting a Collection Task
Check the server.####-##-##.log (on the date the collection received the popup) for the following error
[#132007] The job manager service is not available in state ERROR (Unable to compete job run. Server log may contain further details .After addressing cause, service may be restarted or stopped.)
This indicates that a restart of the eDiscovery Platform services is necessary to resolve this issue. Use the Clearwell Utility option 3 and 4 to perform the services restart.
If the above recommendations do not resolve the issue, please contact Veritas technical support for assistance.
