D:\CW\Vxx\build\build-schema.xml:2088: Runtime error: ERROR 1130 (HY000): Host 'localhost' is not allowed to connect to this MySQL server

Cause

Two scenarios may cause this issue...

  • User is logged into the Windows OS under a personal profile, instead of the MySQL service account (usually the local system administrator account)
  • The MySQL server database is stuck in "read-only" mode

Resolution

Log into the Windows OS as the Clearwell installation account (aka: IGC account), or the Local System Administrator account. Then retry the restore.
