Enterprise Vault Add-in for MAC OS X is failing with 'No message is selected for the operation' and 'Unable to connect to the Exchange Server'

Error Message
Trying to retrieve or restore any Enterprise Vault archived items from the delegated mailbox results in the following errors:
No message is selected for the operation
Select at least one message and try again.
Unable to connect to the Exchange Server.
Check the network connectivity to the Exchange server.
And ultimately the EV Add-in disconnects:
Enterprise Vault Toolbar is not logged in.
The EnterpriseVault.log contains various occurrences of the following:
AccountID = 3;
Domain = "missing value";
Email = "delegateduser@domain.com";
"Exchange Sever Kerberos Principal" = "missing value";
FullName = "Delegated, User";
Name = "Delegated, User";
SearchBase = "";

Resolution
These results are expected for the Enterprise Vault Add-in for MAC OS X.
Currently delegated mailboxes with Outlook 2011 and Outlook 2016 for MAC is not supported.
