Cause

eDiscovery has a limit on the size of ZIP files it creates. This is a 2GB limit and is hard coded to maintain the integrity of the ZIP file.

The resulting ZIP file from this export would exceed the 2GB limit and could result in corrupted data.

Resolution

Option 1 (Preferred)
Set an external export path and grant access to the reviewers. For additional steps refer to the Export and Production guide under the "Export to an External Drive" section.

1. In the All Cases view, click System > Support Features.

2. On the Support Features screen, for step 1, select the Property Browser feature.

3. For Name of property to change, enter:
esa.export.joboutput.external

4. For the New value, enter the path to the external drive. For example:
\\mynas01\myexpdata\ExportOutputDir

5. Make any other selections, then confirm by selecting the check box Confirm change. Are you sure?

6. Click Submit.

Option 2
Export in smaller batches that will not exceed 2GBs.

Note: Additionally, after following the above steps, if the issue still persists. Follow the below mentioned stpes:

  • Check the Server.log (D:\CW\Vxx\logs) for errors below :
