Forwarding multiple archived items will include shortcuts as attachment and not the original items when Outlook is in online mode.

This is expected behavior for the Outlook client and is not considered as an Enterprise Vault defect.
Issue/Introduction
When either using the forward button or right-clicking multiple archived messages within the Outlook toolbar, Enterprise Vault places the shortcuts into the attached image section. This occurs when using the Outlook Client for 2010, 2013 and 2016 in Online Mode. (Figure 1).

Whereas when Outlook 2010 / 2013 / 2016 is in cache mode Enterprise Vault will restore those archived messages before sending the new message (Figure 2).
