Sorry, we can't load the app. Please make sure you have network and/or Internet connectivity. Click "Retry" once you're back online.

 

Cause

The Outlook/OWA client is unable to communicate with the Enterprise Vault server that archives the mailbox. This can occur if the client is external and a connection to the Enterprise Vault server cannot be established. This issue has also been seen if the Enterprise Vault server is not configured to use SSL.

Resolution

  • If external, ensure that the Enterprise Vault server can be reached either with a direct connection or via a proxy, (Netscaler), etc.
  • Ensure that IIS on the Enterprise Vault server that archives the mailbox having connectivity issues is configured to use SSL and has an appropriate certificate installed that the workstation trust.
  • Note: Enterprise Vault itself does not need to be configured to use SSL.
