Cause
The Collection Set is 'Metadata Only'. The data used in the case is from the Collection Task and not from the Collection Set. If the Collection Task is deleted, the error will appear even though all data is present in the Content folder of the Collection Set.
Verify if the Collection Set is 'Metadata Only' by opening the collectionSet.xml file and examine the line:
If the value is false, the Collection Set is 'Metadata Only'.
If the value is true, the Collection Set is 'Metadata and Content'.
Resolution
Ingest the Data from the Collection Set as a Case Folder Source and allow de-duplication of the items.
Note 1:
Loose files are not copied from the Collection Task to the Content folder of the 'Metadata Only' Collection Set. If loose files are part of the Collection Set, that data will not be restored.
NOTE 2:
In version v8.2.2, a new Support feature 'Collection Locator Modifier' has been added. This feature allows the data location pointers to be changed for data that has been moved for processed Collection Sets.
