Cause
When using File Share Archive (FSA) backup mode in order to skip Enterprise Vault (EV) Placeholders, each EV Placeholder encountered by the Collection will generate a line in the Validation report.
Resolution
If using FSA backup mode in order to skip Enterprise Vault (EV) Placeholders, this error can safely be ignored.
Issue/Introduction
The eDiscovery File Share Collection ends in 'Partial success' due to validation errors. The Validation log indicates several "Windows ERROR:31; A device attached to the system is not functioning" errors.
