The warning "Some Processing Cases are not visible because they are not fully upgraded.  To finish upgrading them, click here" is displayed on the "All Cases" page (Figure 1):

Cause

The root cause is currently unknown.

An eDiscovery case consists of entries in several different MySQL database tables. When a new case is created, it sometimes happens that an entry is not created in one of these tables, leaving the case creation partially complete.
 

Resolution

If clicking the "here" link does not resolve the issue, please contact Veritas eDiscovery Support to manually correct the database.

 

Issue/Introduction

A new case is created, but it is not listed in the "All Cases" page. This happens because the case has not actually been fully created. While infrequent, this issue most often occurs in an eDiscovery Distributed Architecture environment. When this issue occurs, the "All Cases" page displays the following warning:

Some Processing Cases (<CASENAME_1>,<CASENAME_2>,...) are not visible because they are not fully upgraded. To finish upgrading them, click here.
Clicking the "here" link often resolves this issue. However, sometimes clicking the "here" link does not resolve the issue and the eDiscovery MySQL database will need to be corrected manually.
