log4j:ERROR setFile(null,true) call failed.
java.io.FileNotFoundException: logs\ant_output.log (Access is denied)

BUILD FAILED

\antlock.tmp.

Cause

User Access Control is enabled.

Resolution

Verify that User Account Control (UAC) is set to “Never Notify”.

To turn UAC to never notify:

  1. Go to Control Panel.
  2. Click User Accounts.
  3. Click Change User Account Control Settings.
  4. Move the slider bar to the bottom "Never Notify"
  5. A restart is required for this change to take effect.

Alternatively.

  1. Go to START.
  2. Click Run.
  3. Type MSCONFIG
  4. Press Enter.
  5. Select the Tools tab on the System Configuration dialog box.
  6. Click Change UAC Settings.
  7.  Click Launch.

 

 

 

Issue/Introduction

When selecting the Clearwell Utilities, the main screen appears. When selecting an option to run, the program reports an 'Access is denied' error prior to running to a BUILD FAILED error.
