Cause

Security settings and Proxy settings may prevent  the file from being downloaded to the local file server.

Resolution

To resolve this issue, configure the bypass proxy setting on the file server for the Enterprise Vault Server and ensure that the Enterprise Vault server FQDN and Alias names are added to the Local Intranet security setting in Internet Explorer.

Issue/Introduction

When attempting to open files that have been archived using Enterprise Vault for File System Archiving, the message the publisher could not be verified. Are you sure you sure you want to run this software? is reported and Event ID 20491 is recorded in the Enterprise Vault logs on the file server.
