Resolution
Creating the registry key UpdateShoppingBasketNoRequeue with a value of 1 will suppress the errors in the Event Viewer log until the Shopping Service can update the basket.
1. Stop all Enterprise Vault services on the Enterprise Vault server.
2. Open Regedit and create the following DWORD value on the Enterprise Vault servers running the Enterprise Vault Shopping Service.
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Wow6432Node\Enterprise Vault\Agents\
DWORD Value - UpdateShoppingBasketNoRequeue
Value Data - 1
3. Start all Enterprise Vault services on the Enterprise Vault server.
Issue/Introduction
By default, Enterprise Vault (EV) will automatically retry any failed updates to a shopping basket. In certain circumstances, the basket may be locked for a period of time, causing the error to be repeated in the event log a number of times.
