The cluster resource could not be brought online by the resource monitor

Cause

This issue can occur if the MSMQ resource was recreated and not added to the EnterpriseVaultAdminService dependencies.

Resolution

  1. Open failover cluster console, expand Services and Application .
     
  2. Right click and open properties of EnterpriseVaultAdminService resource.
     
  3. Go to the Dependencies tab.
     
  4. Click on Insert to add MSMQ cluster resource.
     
  5. Start EnterpriseVaultAdminService as well as the other Enterprise Vault services.
