Error Message
In the Server log the following is seen:
On the screen it may present the following in a distributed environment:
[#160006] Retrieval for failed owing to exception: [#80065] A transaction operation failed. Error: [#80007] Unexpected exception encountered: java.sql.SQLException: Position 'pos' can not be < 1
Workaround:
All users with visible custom fields and/or custom field sorting configured will need to do the following:
1. Go to Analysis & Review
2. Choose Simple Detail View
3. Click on the Configure Custom Fields icon
4. In the Configure Custom Fields window click Reset
5. In the Configure Custom Fields window click Cancel
When each user with customized visibility and/or sorting have cleared their selections, the users should be listed in the case users list.
Resolution
This issue has been resolved in the following releases:
Accessing the users list from a case results the 'No items were found' being presented where the users are expected. In a distributed environment this may also result in an error being presented on the screen.
