Error converting data type varchar to uniqueidentifier.
Cause
During the execution of storage related functions, values can be incorrectly passed to SQL. Although the values are ultimately handled properly, an error can be seen if SQL monitoring (SQL profiler tracing) is in place. The errors do not impact the functionality of Enterprise Vault.
Resolution
There are currently no plans to address this issue by way of a cumulative hotfix or service pack in the current or previous versions of the software at the present time. This issue may be resolved in a future major revision of the software at a later time, but is not scheduled for any release. Issue/Introduction
While running a SQL profiler trace or utilizing other SQL performance tools, an error may be seen during the deletion of archive items. The error message does not impact Enterprise Vault and it's ability to process the items in any way.
