Workaround
After re-docking the "Related Items" panel, navigate away and then back to the attachment. This will reset the "Related Items" panel to show the correct content for the attachment.
Veritas has acknowledged that the above-mentioned issue is present in the version(s) of the product(s) referenced in this article.
This issue is currently under investigation by Veritas. Pending the outcome of the investigation, this issue may be resolved by way of a point fix or fix pack in the current or future versions of the software. Issue/Introduction
Custom attributes can be created during a Load File Import (LFI). Strange behavior is seen when the "Related Items" panel is de-docked and re-docked when viewing an attachment that includes custom attributes.
When an email attachment is being reviewed, the docked "Related Items" panel correctly shows the focus set to the "Attachment" panel and the custom attributes of the attachment are also correctly shown (Figure 1).

However, when the "Related Items" panel is de-docked (by clicking
) the focus is changed to the "Message" tab (Figure 2).

Note that the "Attachments" tab is disabled. This becomes enabled if the "Custom Attributes" button is clicked, however no contents are then listed (Figure 3).

This could be considered only a cosmetic issue. However, when the "Related Items" panel is re-docked (by closing the window), the focus remains set to the "Message" tab, and the details of the parent document are now shown (Figure 4).
