Error Message

"Enterprise Vault Outlook Add-In requires Outlook 2003 SP 2 or later".

When running the install from a command line and enable logging "msiexec /i "Symantec Enterprise Vault Outlook Add-in-en.msi" > /l*v c:\temp\ev_install.log", then take a look at the ev_install log file it will show:

A suggested workaround is as follows:

1. Logon to a Windows XP machine where the install of the EV Add-in works with Office 2003 SP 3

3. Browse to: C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Office\OFFICE11 and copy the file OUTLLIB.DLL

4. Paste the file on the Windows 7 computer in the same location

5. Run the install
