Cause

Enterprise Vault is not able to contact the Replica IP address of Centera.

Note: Replica IP address can be found under the properties of the Vault Store partition.

 

Resolution

  1. Confirm the Primary and Replica IP's are correct.
  2. Check Replica IP is accessible from Enterprise Vault in the Partition Properties using the Test button.
  3. Check for any firewalls blocking the configured IP's.
  4. Test connectivity using CenteraPing.exe (located in the \Enterprise Vault install path.

If the above suggested resolutions do not resolve the issue, then please contact EMC Technical Support for further analysis and troubleshooting.
