Since Enterprise Vault does not provide a built-in undelete or archive recovery feature, it will be necessary to restore the Enterprise Vault environment. Refer to the Administration Guide for the version of Enterprise Vault installed:
Enterprise Vault Product Documentation
https://www.veritas.com/docs/000001907
Note: Refer to the Recovery chapter in the respective guide and restore Enterprise Vault in a separated and isolated environment.
Once the Enterprise Vault recovery environment has been created, and the Enterprise Vault Administrator is able to access the Enterprise Vault Administration Console, it will be required to identify the archive(s) which were accidentally deleted.Using the Archive Export Wizard, export the archive to a .PST file:
Once the archive has been exported to a portable format, proceed to move the PST files into the production environment and import them back into the recreated archives. This should return the vast majority of the missing information back to that archive for continued indexing and review:

Please note that retention categories for these imported Items, where the retention category is based on it's archive date, will now be set to the date of import, and not the date it was originally archived prior to the data having been deleted.
If after having created the Enterprise Vault recovery environment, it is determined that the data is not available or the PST export process fails, contact Veritas Technical Support for assistance with any errors.
