Event Task Categories are displayed in numbers instead of names in non-English environment

Cause
Older version of Microsoft Windows Server software always use English locale to map Event Category ID to Event Category Name. Many applications (including Enterprise Vault) thus only implement Category ID - Category Name mapping string resource in English locale.
Newer version of Microsoft Windows (ex. Windows Server 2008) try to use its system locale to map Event Category ID to Event Category Name. Enterprise Vault doesn't provide such information in non English locale, so Windows Event Log viewer will fail to map Event Category ID to Event Category Name, and display it in the Category ID number.
Resolution
Microsoft acknowledged that this is a defect and released HotFixes.

Until affected customer can apply the fix released from Microsoft, the Enterprise Vault customer can use the table below to map Category ID to Category Name. Please note that this table is provided for informational reason only. Veritas will not answer the question for this table itself. For example, Veritas will not answer question like "In what case an Event in Category 94 (API Server) will be recorded?"
