How to calculate the number of duplicates for a given document :

Perform a meta-data export on a set of documents on which this information is requested.

To export data in Clearwell:

1. Submit a search to find the documents to export.

2. It is possible to export all the documents in the search results set, or select one or more
documents on the current page by clicking the check box next to the appropriate
document(s) to be exported. To select all the documents on the current page, click the
check box in the column heading.

Note: It is possible to export production email files, attachments, and loose files for analysis
in an external TIFF analysis application and then import the TIFF files back into Clearwell
after the analysis is complete.

3. On any page that shows a list of documents, above the Sender column, click Actions
and select Export.

The export options are displayed:


 

4. Click the Type drop-down list, and select the export type: Metadata

 

The number of location URI links in the edrm xml shows the number duplicates for a given document id as shown in the example below>>

Issue/Introduction

Information in the Dashboard reports will show the full counts (without deduplication), however there is a better way to provide this information.
