Error Message

The Job Status log displays the following error:

ERROR:Exception during Indexing.

Resolution

The processing of EnCase Logical Evidence Files (LEF or L01) requires a valid license for the eDP Pre-Processing module.

Use the following steps to verify the currently installed license has this module:

  1. Login to the eDP User Interface
  2. Go to "System > License"
  3. Under the "Additional Features" header, verify that it displays "Pre-porecessing: Licensed"
  4. If Pre-processing is not licensed please contact customer care
 

 

Issue/Introduction

Discovery and processing of Encase logical evidence files is successful, but no data is discovered or processed
