Cause
It is possible there is XML_FILE_MALFORMED within the repository.xml file used for indexing metadata.
Resolution
Refer to Related Article 100039337 to rebuild the \EVIndexing\data\indexmetadata\repository.xml file.
Ensure that all Antivirus exclusions are in place on the Enterprise Vault server.
