Workaround:

If feasible, the Regional Settings of the site can be changed to a locale that uses decimal points such as English (US) or English (UK).  To do this, follow the steps below:

  1. Open the site in question in IE and select the Site Actions dropdown
  2. Click Site Settings -> Site Administration -> Regional Settings
  3. Change the locale to one that uses a decimal point rather than a decimal comma.

Issue/Introduction

When the Regional Settings of a Sharepoint site are configured for a locale that uses decimal commas rather than decimal points as the radix point, the error shown below is returned when clicking the "Show Archived Versions of this Document" option in the Version History page of an archived item.
