Resolution

This issue can be a result of an incorrectly formatted Web Application URL. To verify the configuration see below:
 
  1. In the Enterprise Vault Admin Console (VAC) open the Exchange Desktop policy, Policies>Exchange>Desktop.  
  2. On the Advanced tab List settings from: Outlook
  3. Confirm that the address for the Web Access application is formatted correctly in the Web Application URL setting.
  4. Any changes to the Web Application URL setting will take effect when the target mailboxes are synchronized next.
