"Http 500 Internal Server Error" when attempting to sign into Enterprise Vault Search from a Lotus Notes client if the server security on the Enterprise Vault Domino Gateway is set up incorrectly

Resolution
This error is generated if the server security on the Enterprise Vault Domino Gateway is not set up correctly.
Solution:
1. Open the Security page of the server document.
2. In the Programmability restrictions Who can section, ensure that the user who will sign the mail templates is displayed in the field Sign agents to run on behalf of the invoker of the agent .
3. Scroll down to Server Access, and add the target Domino mail servers as trusted servers.
4. In the ACL settings of the evdomino.nsf database, verify the user who signed the mail templates has Manager Access and Delete Documents checked.
5. Sign the Document with the same User by right clicking on the evdomino.nsf and choose Sign.
6. Click Save and Close.
7. Repeat the above steps for each Enterprise Vault Domino Gateway.
8. Restart the Domino server and launch the Enterprise Vault Search again.
