Users are getting the error ''Notes Error: Remote pathnames must be relative to the Data Directory" like shown in the picture.
Resolution
This issue has been addressed as part of the following release:
Enterprise Vault 9.0.3
Enterprise Vault 10.0.1
Issue/Introduction
The retrieval architecture has been changed on Enterprise Vault 9.0.1 onwards, the item retrieved is now restored temporarily into the mailbox database. When users do have 'database links' the retrieval of archived items from DWA no longer works, the retrieval call is not able to return the VIRTUAL file path (where actually the database is) but it returns the REAL file path (where there is just the database link).
