Cause

Event ID 1075 is a Windows error message generated when a Windows service cannot be started due to a dependency issue. Some Enterprise Vault services depend on other services, such as Microsoft Message Queuing Service.

Resolution

Verify if the Message Queuing component is installed and the service is in Running status. If the Message Queuing component is not installed, refer to the Windows documentation to install the Message Queuing component.

Note: There are two Enterprise Vault services that depend of the Microsoft Message Queuing service:

  • Enterprise Vault Storage Service.
  • Enterprise Vault Task Controller Service.
