Error Message

DTRACE Information:
To validate if this is the issue a DTRACE is needed, please perform the following steps on the EV server that has generated this error, while re-creating the issue.

• DTRACE the process EVRunDll for no less than 5 minutes while re-creating the issue.
• Open the log file created and search for either of the following the strings:

Event ID: 4208 Anonymous Logon was added to the Launch and Activation Permissions Limits for COM Security on this computer.  This is required so that configuration changes can be made to Enterprise Vault components to allow for Anonymous access.
CAUIServiceAccountPage::DoCreateDirectoryService() SCMStartService completed, hr: Unspecified error

There is no Enterprise Vault Admin Service present which should have been installed during the install.

This issue can be resolved by re-running the EV binaries. Re-running the binaries will re-create the missing NT service on EV Server.

1. Check the EV Install log for the Admin Service issue and rectify the error.
2. Rerun the EV Binaries and reboot the EV Server. (Refer related )
